About Sylvester
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Introducing Sylvester, a sensitive and gentle young Yorkie/Chihuahua mix with a golden, black, and apricot coat of medium length. Sylvester is about two years old and weighs 12.6 lbs. He is currently in foster care at Paw Patrol Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Miami, FL, where he is steadily learning to trust people again. Sylvester's early days were rough; he was found abandoned with a fractured hip and has since undergone surgery. Thanks to loving foster care, he’s made an amazing recovery, but he will always need a safe and calm environment. Jumping from high places must be avoided to protect his hip, so a mindful household is essential. Though a bit shy at first, Sylvester’s affectionate personality blossoms with patience and gentle interaction. He thrives around other dogs, having learned from his foster siblings, and enjoys quiet observation. His leash manners are excellent, making walks enjoyable and stress-free. Sylvester will need a patient adopter willing to continue building his confidence, go at his pace, and provide the mindful, loving home where he can truly flourish. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
