All hail King Nathaniel Bartholomew! 👑 This 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix may have a royal name, but his favorite place to be is right beside his person, soaking up love and giving plenty of snuggles in return. King Nathaniel recently returned from foster care where he lived with other small dogs and did very well with his canine companions. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his playful and affectionate personality really begins to shine. King Nathaniel is looking for a patient, understanding owner who will give him the time and space he needs to build confidence and feel secure in his new home. He is crate trained and actually seeks out his crate as his safe place when he wants to relax and recharge. It's his own little castle where he feels most comfortable. Because he can be a bit timid at first, a home without young children would be best for him. We do not have any history with cats.
