About Gates
Gates is doing something important with his days: living and training alongside handlers at Beaumont Correctional Center. Thanks to the Pixie's Pen Pals program, run by FETCH a Cure in partnership with the Virginia Department of Corrections, Gates gets daily structure and focused, positive training from people who have time and heart to offer. Canine behavior specialists supervise the program, so Gates isn’t just working on obedience; he’s also brushing up on social skills, learning how to settle in and be part of a home. He’s used to attention, loves to play, and has developed a real talent for connecting with the people around him. Gates gets along with other dogs and is already house trained, making transition into a new home that much easier. If you want a friendly, adaptable companion who’s already had a jumpstart on life skills, Gates is ready to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
