Eeyore is an approximately 3 year old Pit Bull mix who came to us as a stray and staff was immediately wanting to give our unconditional love to this sweet boy with the seemingly sad face. He is the biggest cuddle bug once he feels comfortable with you, so much so that one staff member said that she couldn’t get up from her desk as he was laying across her feet and didn’t want to leave her side. He also enjoys playing with toys and is a good boy with releasing them and going right back in when the game continues! Eeyore is a shy guy initially, but despite his namesake, he gets incredibly happy to be with people who gain his trust and let him be the dog he was always meant to be. He is a strong boy so we suggest using best judgement with kids, but don’t discourage kids in the home. He also would do well with cat or dog friends, but if a dog is already in the home, a dog intro would be required. Everyone in the home would have to meet him before this boy can go home.
