Meet Althea! Althea is a 16-month-old Aussie/Beagle mix who is pure joy in a dog suit. She’s sociable, sweet, and loves everyone past the age of 10. Kids who don’t shriek = her love language. She’s housebroken, affectionate, and has just the right amount of energy to keep life fun without requiring you to take up marathon training. She would love a hiking friend! So why is Althea looking for a home? Her people moved overseas and tried the whole “leave the dog with family” plan. Unfortunately, that home came with two small, yappy dogs who never stopped auditioning for The Voice: Canine Edition. Althea tried to coexist, but let’s be honest: she deserves better than a 24/7 soundtrack of “yap yap yap.” It was not a match. Now she’s back and ready for the life she actually deserves, soaking up all the attention, and never again having to share her space with canine drama queens. Althea is housebroken, social, and friendly. She has excellent manners, loves hanging out when not going for ambles in the park and is an overall 5-star dog! She likes almost all dogs she meets but can be a bit dominant. If you have a single dog and you are looking for a friend, she is ready to be your buddy and theirs.
