Cupcake is a Yorkie/Maltese mix who was recently transferred to us from Palmer Animal Control after her owner passed away. Our vet is estimating that she is around 4-years-old. She is a shy girl who is looking for a patient adopter to help her decompress. Cupcake came in with her sister, Muffin, so we think she may do well with a confident canine companion to show her the ropes in a new home. Since we do not have any history on her, we will not place Cupcake in a home with children under 12. She will be spayed with us soon so we are accepting applications now. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment. Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care. With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
