SUGAR is a darling 2 year old, 65 pound mixed breed dog. We think there may be Jack Russell Terrier and Pointer in the mix. Sugar was found as a stray and is currently living in a busy foster home in TN. Her foster mom has wonderful things to say about her: Sugar is a laid back gal. She is friendly, loves attention belly rubs. She rides well, is good on leash walks, and loves playing with the other foster dogs. Sugar gets along with cats, is housebroken and crate trained. She is currently exercised by going for a half hour walk and playtime in the fenced yard. This easygoing girl could be part of your family! We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
