About Joaquin
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Joaquin, an expressive and irresistible 6-month-old male Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix with the classic pittie look and a heart full of personality. With estimated adult weight around 45–50 lbs, Joaquin is a quirky, treat-motivated puppy, eager to learn and always ready to add a little comedy to your day with his signature “gremlin” noises. He adores toys—especially the chewable, squeaky, or treat-dispensing kind—and delights in every snack, with beef liver ranking as a top favorite. Rescued alongside his brother from a tough backyard situation, Joaquin carries the unique look of a past facial injury that doesn’t hold him back at all. Vets have confirmed that he’s healthy and able to live a joyful, full life. He’s currently thriving in his foster home, where he is crate trained, potty trained, and working diligently on his leash manners. Joaquin gets along beautifully with dogs and can live with confident, dog-savvy cats. He’s also met older children and has been wonderful with them; respectful kids of any age should be a great match. For daily life, Joaquin would do well solo or with canine siblings, and he’s quite adaptable to many home environments. He is a loving, food-motivated companion who seeks a forever family filled with treats, adventure, and cuddles. Bonus: His birthday makes him a Virgo, so he may be both playful and tidy! Joaquin is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered, and he’s eagerly waiting in the Pacific Northwest for his dream home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
