Scooter #8 is a 1-year-old purebred male Yellow Labrador Retriever weighing about 40 pounds of pure sweetness. This handsome boy has a gentle soul and is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be outside of the environment he came from. Scooter is great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. Having spent much of his young life without the chance to simply be a dog, he is now learning how to play, explore, and build confidence in the world around him. Because of this, he would do best in a home with another friendly dog who can help show him the ropes and continue teaching him all the fun and joy that comes with being part of a family. A securely fenced yard is important for Scooter so he can safely run, stretch his legs, and experience the freedom he has never had before. He is still learning about leashes, routines, and everyday household life, but he is eager to please and blossoms a little more each day. Scooter is an incredibly sweet, gentle boy who is ready to bond deeply with his people and canine companions.
