About Preacher
Click apply to start the adoption process. Preacher is a gentle, sweet boy who was rescued from a difficult situation at a local shelter where he had little hope of getting out. When he arrived, his coat was so matted it needed to be cut, but he handled it all with calmness. Preacher is low key and easygoing, with a temperament that shines especially around other dogs — he is well-socialized and remains mellow and friendly. Although the shelter initially estimated his age at 5 years, the vet believes he is closer to a year and a half, so he is still quite young with an entire life ahead of him. Preacher is looking for a caring home where his sweet nature will be cherished. Give him the loving future he deserves and experience the joy of welcoming this affectionate companion into your life. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Preacher
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Yellow Labrador Retriever and Great Pyrenees mixes generally thrive in spacious homes with a yard where they can move freely. They are adaptable but do best in environments where they receive plenty of companionship and mental stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
This mix usually benefits from a large fenced yard or regular access to outdoor areas where they can roam and explore, as both breeds enjoy having space to stretch their legs and exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Yes, the combination of Labrador Retriever and Great Pyrenees tends to be good with children due to their gentle and patient nature. Supervision is recommended with younger children, as the dog's large size might unintentionally knock a child over.
