About Bubba
Bubba is a striking 4-year-old Great Pyrenees with a commanding presence and a soft heart. He tips the scale at 100 pounds but could use a few extra meals to reach his ideal 115. Bubba spent time at a previous shelter where he immediately won everyone over—he gets along well with other dogs, charmed the staff, and showed unwavering friendliness. For reasons no one could figure out, he was overlooked, but he’s thriving now and loves the attention he’s getting at the vet’s office, where he’s quickly become a favorite among the staff. Classic Great Pyrenees traits shine through in Bubba: he’s calm, proud, loyal, smart, and independent—everything you’d expect from the breed. He needs a home with a sizable yard and people who value the unique qualities of this giant. Bubba will do best with consistent training and regular grooming to keep his impressive coat at its best. He’s searching for a home that values a big, gentle soul who quietly gives his all. Bubba’s adoption is limited to Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties due to the rescue’s policies. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
