Dovey is a 4-month-old orange tabby with a soft coat and an even softer heart. This little lady may be a bit shy when you first meet her but give her a little time (and a calm, cat-savvy approach), and she’ll quietly blossom into a sweet and curious companion. She’s currently learning all about the world in her foster home and taking it at her own pace. Dogs? Still a work in progress. Dovey has bravely sniffed and investigated her foster’s very gentle senior dog, but she prefers things slow and predictable—high-energy pups are a bit too much for her right now. Where Dovey really shines is with other cats. She absolutely thrives in a feline-friendly environment! She adores her two adult foster brothers—one who lovingly “mothers” her and another who matches her playful kitten energy perfectly. She’s also learning important boundaries from the resident “queen” cat, who is making sure Dovey grows up with proper manners. Dovey would do best in a home with another friendly cat to help guide her and keep her company.
