About Sugar
Meet Sugar! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Sugar is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Sugar is a beautiful sweetheart with a soft, velvety coat and the most adorable little meows you've ever heard. Sugar was pulled from a severe hoarding case where she was not taken care of properly, but with some medical attention and love she is ready for her new home. She may be a tiny bit skittish when first settling into a new environment, but give her a little time and patience, and she quickly blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion. Once she feels safe, Sugar becomes an absolute cuddle bug who lives for belly rubs and attention. She'll happily soak up all the pets you're willing to give and will reward you with her gentle presence and sweet personality. If you really want to win her heart, break out a Churu treat. They're her absolute favorite. Sugar would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and be spoiled with affection. Sugar is ~2 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. Sugar's foster sibling is Piggy (F) Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
