About Montgomery
Montgomery, or Monty if you prefer, is one spirited little Husky mix just getting started in life. Born on March 22, 2026, he and his siblings are growing fast after their mom was rescued from a rural Utah shelter. Monty is small for now, but his confidence and curiosity outpace his size—he’s always eager to explore and take on whatever comes his way. He’ll be ready for a new home when he’s eight weeks old in mid-May. Right now, Monty and his siblings cannot be visited in person until they are over 16 weeks old and placed in their own foster homes, but virtual meet and greets will be available. Montgomery gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, so he could slide into most families with the right preparation. Like most Northern breed mixes, he'll need someone ready for the training, activity, and general care these dogs require—this is not a breed for the unprepared. Experienced adopters preferred. If Montgomery's birth on the Aries-Taurus cusp gives any hint, expect some boldness and a strong will. Start your journey together! Apply now.
