About Harley

There's something special about senior dogs. They've outgrown the chaos of puppyhood and learned that the best part of life is simply being near the people they love. Harley, an 11 year old White German Shepherd, is the perfect example of that quiet, devoted kind of love. At about 100 pounds, she's a beautiful, gentle girl who has spent her life being a loyal companion to her family. Over the past several months, Harley traveled with her people, but as she's gotten older, her mobility has slowed down and she can't quite keep up with their active lifestyle anymore. Wanting the very best for her, they made the incredibly difficult decision to help her find a home where she can slow down, feel safe, and be cherished through her golden years. Harley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, and she currently takes a supplement to support her joints and mobility. She is dog friendly and absolutely adores children. Harley is fully house trained, has never needed a crate, and has lovely manners around the house. She already knows commands like sit, down, and stay/wait, and she's happiest simply being close to her people. Like many shepherds, Harley can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she realizes she's safe, her warm and loving personality shines through. She prefers a calm home and may feel uneasy during loud noises, storms, or bad weather. Harley is also not fond of cats, so a cat-free home will suit her best. Harley isn't asking for much - just a soft place to rest, a gentle routine, and someone who will love her as deeply as she will love them. Senior dogs have a special kind of magic about them, and Harley is the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room, grateful just to be near you. She has spent her whole life being someone's loyal companion, and she deserves a family who will make her final chapter the sweetest one yet. If you're looking for a gentle, devoted friend with so much love left to give, Harley may be the perfect girl for you.
