About Moscow
7/11/2025 Moscow's owner was moving around a lot so they decided he would be better suited with another owner. Moscow doesn't enjoy car rides or vet visits so calming medication would be necessary. Due to his long coat he needs a little help trimming around his booty to keep him and sleek and clean. After some time in foster care, his foster parent noticed Moscow had a limp. After further invetistigation the veterinarian found that Moscow had a juvenile condition that ate away at the bone that fits into his hip joint. Moscow was then scheduled for surgery to remove that bone. Moscow is now fully recovered and should not have any further issues with that side of his hip. Now that Moscow feels better he is a happier boy with a sweet personality. He let's his foster mom cuddle him, rub his fluffy belly, and will come when called (when he wants to of course!) He can be shy, so he will need at least a couple visits to help him come out of his shell. Previous history ********************************** An owner in North Omaha had a cat that accidently got out and got pregnant. She had 4 babies. Was able to find a home for one but was worried the other three would fall into the hands of someone that wouldn't take care of them. She reached out to FKP so the kittens would have loving homes. DOB 12/28/2023 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN Moscow, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE, www.thefosterkittenproject.org AND COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION today. The adoption fee is $75 and covers age appropriate vaccines, tests, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. The majority of our cats/kittens are in foster care and we must be respectful of the foster family's time. An approved application is required prior to setting up the meet and greet. After the meeting, if you believe you have met your new family member, you would be able to take them home the same day. Please know that we do vet checks and property checks on all our applicants. If you have pets currently, all pets must be current on ALL MAINTENANCE VETERINARY CARE AND ALTERED. (This includes core vaccines, heartworm testing and prevention for dogs, virus testing for cats). We check deeds and call landlords to ensure the cat is allowed on your lease. VETTING INFORMATION CAN BE PROVIDED BY YOUR VET (WE WILL CALL THEM) OR BY SUBMITTING THE PAPERWORK BUT IT MUST BE VERIFIED. If you have a pet that has been deceased within 2 years, we will also need to verify that pet was current on all medical care or as recommended by your veterinarian at the time oftheir passing. Due to limited resources for local vetting, adoptions may be delayed until after kittens are altered. Wait times may vary until age-appropriate vetting can be performed prior to adoption. THE FOSTER KITTEN PROJECT IS A RESCUE THAT FOCUSES ON NEONATALS. Not all Kittens posted are ready for their Forever home immediately and may need further foster and veterinary care. Kittens that do go to forever homes are FULLY vaccinated, Spayed/Neutered, Microchipped, Dewormed, FIV/FELV tested, and fecaltested PRIOR to going home with you. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about THE FOSTER KITTEN PROJECT and our mission.
