About Caterpillar

Caterpillar, known affectionately as Cat, arrived at the Tabby Shack after a concerned neighbor spotted him outdoors. Early on, he became famous for his unique way of hiding upright inside a cat tree, melting into the box except for his wide, nervous eyes—earning him his memorable name. Over time, thanks to the steady presence of other cats, especially Mr. Floof, Cat began to emerge from his shell. Though he remains cautious about human touch, he’s started to warm to it little by little. At heart, he’s an athletic, lively cat—always found darting about, wrestling with his closest feline friends, or getting lost in whatever toy he can find. Cat eagerly greets every new rescue cat and thrives in feline company. He’s still learning to trust people, so he’ll need a family that has the patience to encourage him, but another playful cat in the home is a must. Currently, he does well sharing space with other cats and a resident dog. Cat is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and house trained. This bright, funny tabby never fails to amuse those around him. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
