About Potato
Potato is a ten-month-old tabby with a soft short coat, big personality, and a Taurus sun sign—curious and delightfully stubborn. He arrived at the rescue with his mother and eight other cats in poor health, surviving Panleukopenia only to lose most of his siblings to the disease. While the other survivors turned out feral and want nothing to do with humans, Potato is the outlier. He’s gentle, glued to laps, and runs straight to people for affection and pets every time. There’s no hiding his fondness for people—he soaks up every minute of attention. Potato tested positive for FELV, so he’ll need a special home that understands his condition and what it means. An adopter with experience or a household where other cats are FELV positive would be ideal. Despite the odds, Potato is all in when it comes to love and companionship, and he’s a wonderful fit for a caring, knowledgeable adopter. Give this sweet boy the nurturing home he deserves. Your new best friend is just one click away.
