Dog's Name: Ms Pelekai (MSP0326ALAFD) Estimated Breed: Beagle mix Approximate Age: 3 years Approximate Weight: 30 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Ms Pelekai This adorable 3-year-old Beagle mix is 30 pounds of pure personality, charm, and tail-wagging enthusiasm. Ms. Pelekai is a vocal girl, as is typical of the Beagle breed. Whether she's announcing a squirrel sighting, greeting you like you've been gone for 10 years (even if it's been 10 minutes), or just sharing her thoughts on the day, this girl says it with heart. Because of her vocal talents, she's looking for a home (not an apartment or condo) where she can express herself freely without worrying about close neighbors critiquing her performances. But don't worry — her “songs” come bundled with endless love, loyalty, and laughter. Ms. Pelekai is the kind of dog who will keep you smiling, keep you company, and keep your days just a little bit brighter. She's always ready for an adventure, a cuddle session, or a good old-fashioned hangout on the couch. With her friendly nature, she also gets along great with other dogs, and would be happy having a doggy buddy or two. At a perfect medium size, she's just right for joining you on walks, road trips, or backyard explorations — and then curling up beside you when the day is done. Ms. Pelekai isn't just looking for a house — she's looking for her people. A family who will love her big personality, appreciate her voice, and give her the happy-ever-after she deserves. Could it be yours? If you have room in your home, apply today and give Ms Pelekai a chance to steal your heart! Your pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
