Meet Sophie Sophie came to us late one evening after her owner found herself in a tough situation. She had snuck a kitten into her apartment and was at risk of eviction. The shelter was already closed, so we stepped in to help and planned to transfer Sophie the next day. But then we met her. We are complete suckers for a brown tabby, and Sophie made that decision easy. These cats have a way of stealing hearts, and she is no exception. Sophie is about 9 months old and on the petite side for her age. She can be a little shy and quiet at first, but give her a moment to feel safe and she will bond deeply with her person. Once she trusts you, she is all in. We are especially grateful she made her way to us when she did. During her spay surgery, we discovered she was already in heat. Had she been put outside, her story could have taken a very different turn. Sophie is a gentle, sweet girl who just needed a chance. Now she is ready for a home where she will be safe, loved, and never have to worry again. If you’d like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.). We kindly ask that visits be made earlier in the day, as the last hour before closing is reserved for medications and end-of-day care. Adoption Fee is $100/each or $150-350/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.
