Meet Calantha, an 8-month-old fluffy tan beauty who may have some Anatolian Shepherd in her mix. Weighing 27 lbs, she’s expected to grow into a wonderful medium-to-large sized companion. Calantha is incredibly sweet and has a gentle, loving nature. She adores people and is happiest when she’s spending time with her humans. With her eager-to-please personality, she’s a great candidate for continued training and will thrive in a home that provides consistency and love. She is already doing very well—Calantha is crate trained and making great progress with house training. She’s learning quickly and settling nicely into routines. Calantha came into our care with an infected broken jaw, but she has been through treatment and is healing very well. She is eating great and feeling so much better. Her jaw is slightly misaligned, so if you look closely, you may notice a small difference—but it’s not immediately obvious and does not slow her down one bit. Calantha is a resilient, loving pup who is ready for her second chance at a happy life. She would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a sweet, affectionate, and special companion.
