If you look up the word sweet in the dictionary, you might just see a picture of Fudge. This handsome pup will melt your heart with his cuddles. But that's not how Fudge's story with us started.  ​When we took Fudge into our rescue, he was a fearful puppy who wanted to shrink into himself and avoid people, dogs, riding in the car, and all of the normal life experiences dogs enjoy. Whatever happened to Fudge before his time with us made him believe he wasn't safe in the world. We made it our mission to change his mind.  So we enrolled Fudge in training and really quickly this shy, nervous puppy turned into an incredibly sweet, fun-loving dog. He made friends with every dog he met. He greeted new people without trying to hide. He hopped in the car like a pro!   We are so thrilled that Fudge now believes he is safe and he is ready to find his loving forever home who will continue to show him how loved and protected he is. His forever home will even get the opportunity to have some training sponsored by us to ensure a smooth transition into his new home and help him to thrive. Fudge is an easy dog to live with. He is potty trained, is not a destructive chewer, not a big barker, and can easily settle down and cuddle when it's time to relax.  Fudge loves playing with other dogs and can adjust his play style to suit dogs that he meets so he's been very popular at his foster's home. We'd like Fudge to go to a home where he won't be left home alone all day and with another playful dog, as a doggy companion brings him so much joy.
