Riley is a stunning young blue merle Border Collie with a gentle, sensitive spirit. He may seem shy when you first meet him, but with patience, he reveals himself as a devoted cuddle buddy who loves to be close to his person. After building trust, Riley enjoys hanging out on the couch, quietly keeping track of household goings-on, and being your soft-spoken little shadow. He’s social with other playful dogs and does especially well if there’s a confident canine friend to help guide him. He thrives on daily walks and off-leash time in the yard, yet he balances his Border Collie energy with a solid "off switch" when it’s time to unwind. Riley’s habit of collecting shoes or clothes left on the floor and parading them around is endearing—and he’ll happily trade his loot for a treat.
