Bruni is a young Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix with a bold personality and a big, affectionate heart. He loves being close to his people—sit on the floor, and he'll try to sneak right into your lap. Bruni is quick to learn, especially with clear structure and positive reinforcement. He's nailed “sit” and is making progress with crate training and other basics. Social with other dogs, Bruni enjoys their company and is steadily learning to pick up on canine cues. It’s easy to see his drive to do well for the people he trusts. He can be reserved initially around strangers, so he needs a bit of patience as he builds comfort and trust, but once he bonds, he’s deeply loyal and affectionate. Bruni's ideal home is active—he needs daily exercise and mental stimulation to satisfy his energetic, clever mind. Activities like hiking or trail running suit him perfectly. Homes with cats aren’t a good match due to his herding drive; older, dog-experienced kids are a better fit.
