THEA: The Young Athlete Who Needs a Chance ​Thea is a 2 years old young, vibrant girl with a heart of gold and energy to spare. Sadly, after being surrendered to the shelter as a puppy almost a year ago along with her brother she is experiencing high anxiety living in a stressful environment and starting to decline. Thea not only lost the only family she knew but also her brother who has since been adopted. She is simply too smart and too active for a life behind bars and quietly losing hope. She craves love and safety but instead she is locked up in the kennel for months. Our rescue would like to pull Thea into our care but we can't do so until we find a committed foster home. ​Thea's Personality: High energy, incredibly smart, resilient, and ready to learn. ​The Support: We have a professional trainer committed to working with Thea for 4+ weeks to ensure she has a smooth transition! ​The Goal: We need a foster who can provide structure and activity. The trainer will be there to support YOU and Thea every step of the way. ​Urgency: Thea cannot thrive where she is any longer. She needs a home to start her "happily ever after."
