At 3 years old and just 9.4 lbs, this Chihuahua mix is a delightful bundle of playful energy and sweet cuddles, ready to bring endless joy into your life. Luly enjoys exploring her space but will always be happiest snuggled up beside you or in her favorite bed. She’s already housebroken, sleeps soundly in her own pen, and travels well in the car. On leash, Luly does well—especially with an anti-pull harness—and she’s easily handled, even allowing regular tooth brushing and eagerly awaiting her turns for a gentle brush. Bright and food-motivated, she already knows how to “sit.” A lovable little shadow, she thrives on affection and especially adores belly rubs. While she can be vocal when meeting new people or in unfamiliar surroundings, she settles quickly and warms up once she feels safe. Luly shows a special fondness for men but will soak up cuddles from anyone who shares love with her. She does well with other dogs, preferring larger friends, and could live with a confident, dog-savvy cat. Luly is not suited to a home with children and would do best in a patient household that will continue to gently work with her food-guarding behaviors. Her foster notes that she is highly responsive and making great progress with training.
