About Mack
Mac | Your Velcro Love Bug with a Second Chance at Life š Mac's story didn't start out easy. He was found wandering the streets of Memphis--neglected, starving, and in need of help. Thankfully, he made it to a local shelter where he received medical care, and just in time, a foster stepped in to save him when he was placed on the urgent list. When Mac first arrived in foster care, he was understandably shy and shut down. But as he began to feel better--both physically and emotionally--his true personality started to shine. And what a personality it is. Mac is an absolute love bug. He wants nothing more than to be close to his person--preferably in your lap if you'll let him--and soak up all the affection you have to give. He's the kind of dog who bonds deeply and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. He's low to medium energy, with a playful side, and he absolutely enjoys the company of other dogs. He'd do great in a home with a canine companion or as your one-and-only, as long as he gets plenty of love and attention. Mac is still on his journey--he's gaining weight and his coat is growing back beautifully--but his spirit is already fully restored. Now he just needs a forever home where he'll be cherished the way he deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will love you endlessly, Mac is your guy. š IDEAL HOME: Mack would do best in a home where he could spend most of his time with his humans.
