Scrappie LOCAL
AvailableScrappie is an American Bulldog mix in his senior years—around 8 years and 11 months old—currently in Princeton, MA. He is a large, neutered male who is house-trained and up to date on his vaccinations. Scrappie prefers a home without other dogs or cats, and does best around adults or older children.
About Scrappie LOCAL
Scrappie is a big-hearted, soft-souled gentleman with a loving, loyal nature who wants nothing more than to be someone’s one and only. His mostly white coat with striking brindle patches may catch your eye, but it’s the warmth he brings to every room that really stands out. After a tough start on the streets of Mississippi, Scrappie flourished in a home environment—he’s lived happily with adults and older kids who appreciate his gentle ways. He’s best matched with an adult home or kids aged 10 and up, as young children can overwhelm him. Scrappie prefers being the single dog in the home and isn’t suited for life with cats, but he’s fine passing dogs on walks. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, good on a leash, and food-motivated, which keeps him easy to engage and fun to have around. Now a distinguished senior, Scrappie still enjoys walks, lounging on the couch, and plenty of affection. His separation anxiety has improved immensely and he’s now calm and relaxed when left alone—no meds needed. If you’re looking for a ready-made, loyal companion who aims to please and asks only for love in return, Scrappie could be the one. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
