About Mila

Click apply to start the adoption process. Mila’s love languages are all about play and food. Just bring out a wand toy with a fuzzy worm or a rabbit fur mouse, and you'll be amazed by her speed, agility, and impressive hunting skills. Mila throws her whole heart into playtime until she’s delightfully worn out. Treats are another favorite—Churu and wet food make her day, and she’s starting to learn clicker training, showing off just how intelligent and motivated she is. At this time, Mila prefers her own space and isn’t seeking physical affection. She’s in need of a patient adopter with a calm, quiet, adult-only home where she can feel safe. Patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of play and treats will help Mila continue to progress in her socialization, though this will be at her own pace. She requires someone who understands that building trust is a journey that cannot be rushed. Mila is uniquely beautiful, with sweet folded ears, striking golden-yellow eyes, and a stunning coat that shifts between deep brown and black, featuring a smoky undercoat. Her one-of-a-kind look is further enhanced by her bowed front legs and a charmingly twisted back leg, adding to her exceptional charm and character. Her orthopedic condition is currently stable. Mila previously had a sore on her back leg which has healed well, but due to the unique structure of her legs, there is a possibility she might need orthopedic care in the future. This is not a present concern but is something her adopter should be aware of. Mila is a cat full of playful energy, personality, and quiet promise. With time, patience, and lots of understanding, she is sure to thrive and reveal her full potential. Please note that Scottish Folds like Mila have a genetic mutation responsible for their distinctive folded ears, which can also lead to joint and cartilage issues later in life. A joint supplement is recommended to help prevent future concerns. Adopters will receive a wonderful package of goodies valued at around $100 if they visit one or both of our partner pet stores after adoption. Misfit Felines Inc is a foster-based rescue, and all cats live in foster homes prior to adoption. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
