Henrietta is just the most happy-go-lucky cat you could ever meet! She may not be able to see, but she has no trouble finding her way to the nearest lap. This incredibly sweet little lady was found blind and wobbly living outdoors and somehow fending for herself. She had terrible eye infections in both eyes that left her blind and so she had her eyes removed. Henri does this adorable thing where she whips her tail around and uses it to help guide herself around as a makeshift "walking stick". One might think she was a very angry cat with her vigorous tail movements, but she's as far from that as one can be! In fact, she reminds her foster of a puppy! She follows her around and wants to steal her food. She is also a bit wobbly on her feet which the vet feels might be due to a previous infection. Her wobbliness does not stop her from doing elevator butt when you scratch her back end. Due to her wobbliness and lack of vision, she would do best in a home without access to stairs (and don't think a baby gate will hold her back). Henri is as quiet as can be, so if you're looking for a chatty Cathy, Henrietta is probably not the cat for you. Though, she does the sweetest little meows at her favorite time of day: meal time! She really enjoys the company of other cats, but they don't always understand her wobbliness. She gets along great with her blind foster brother. Watching them chase each other around is quite the sight! She's quite playful and can often be found rolling around with her toys and doing zoomies. Poor Henri was also diagnosed with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) which does not appear to be stress related and seems to be quite well controlled with a non-prescription canned food diet and dietary supplements that cost about $30/month.
