Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Chico can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Chico is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. 🐾 Meet Chico: Your New Best Friend! The Lowdown on Chico Chico and his brother found themselves in need of a new start when their previous owner could no longer care for them. While we know his mom was a Rat Terrier, his dad is a bit of a mystery—but whatever the mix, the result is 100% adorable! Personality: Chico is a "typical puppy"—energetic, playful, and absolutely full of life. He wakes up with a wagging tail and is always ready for the next adventure. Social Life: He is a social butterfly! Chico loves making new human friends and gets along great with other dogs. Because of his young age and sweet nature, we expect him to do well with children and dog-savvy cats with proper introductions. Brain Power: This smart boy is already ahead of the curve! He is crate trained and keeps his space clean. He shows great signs of being housebroken, though he’ll appreciate a patient hand as he adjusts to a new routine. Ideal Home Chico would thrive in a home that embraces the "puppy life." He’ll need plenty of toys, some basic obedience training, and lots of zoomie time in the yard or on walks. His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Chico is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP seriesx3, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Chico’s adoption fee is $900. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area.
