About Maizie
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Meet Miss Maizie, a beautiful and resilient girl with quite the journey behind her. Once called Sugar Cookie, Maizie was adopted and known as Daisy before she recently found her way back, ready for her true forever family. She’s now our beloved Miss Maizie, and everyone is rooting for her next chapter to be her best yet. Maizie is a strong, happy, and deeply loving dog who forms close bonds with her person. Her loyalty is unmatched—she treasures her connection so much that she prefers to be the only animal in the home. Her playful spirit shines, but she isn’t one to share her heart with every furry face she meets, and that's perfectly okay! She was well-mannered in her previous home, house trained, and adored by her people. Ultimately, she was returned because she proved to be too strong on leash and far too interested in other animals during her walks. For Maizie to truly thrive, she’d love a confident adopter or someone willing to invest time in gentle guidance, ongoing leash work, and helping her manage her reactivity. Maizie has so much promise and is eager to flourish with the right person by her side. She comes spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to step boldly into her next adventure. Maizie isn’t looking for perfection—she’s hoping for love, commitment, and someone who will help her feel safe, understood, and home for good. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
