About Caesar
Caesar’s story has not been easy. As a puppy, he was rescued from a dire situation where he, his mother, and newborn siblings were found in a shack with dozens of other dogs. He was adopted for a time, but life didn’t go smoothly—recently, he ended up back in a shelter, looking worn down and very underweight. It took a long trip to bring him back to safety, but now, after some medical bumps (including a heartworm battle and a worrisome lump that turned out to be benign), Caesar is healthy and back to his ideal weight. Genetics say he’s a mix of Pit Bull, Boxer, and a bit of everything else—a true supermutt, about 40 pounds with a striking brindle, short coat. He has a playful, athletic streak, and bonds closely with the people he trusts. Caesar’s a champ with children and adores his foster sister Sandy, but seems uneasy around most male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. He’s vaccinated and neutered, ready for that final, stable home where he can settle for good. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Caesar
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
As a Pit Bull and Boxer mix, Caesar does well in a variety of environments as long as he has plenty of human interaction and supervision. A home where he’s part of the family and given structured activity is ideal.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Caesar will benefit from daily walks or playtime in a securely fenced yard. Medium breeds like Pit Bulls and Boxers are athletic and appreciate access to safe outdoor space, but do not require acres of land.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
This mix is generally known for being affectionate with children. Caesar, in particular, seems to love kids and would enjoy a family with younger members.
