About Spice
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Spice, a delightful domestic short hair calico who is looking for her forever home. Spice is a spayed female, currently about six months old as of March 2026 and weighing in at approximately nine pounds, with a little more growing still to do. She arrived at Homeward Trails from a shelter in North Carolina alongside her siblings, Pumpkin Spice and Mittens. Because she is still new, her full personality is emerging, but everyone is excited to see more of her unique traits. Spice is currently staying at Crumbs & Whiskers, DC’s first cat cafe, which is a cozy space where you can meet her in person and see how she settles in among fellow felines. She is known to enjoy the company of other cats and will need to be adopted with a compatible kitty companion—possibly one of her siblings! As a thoughtful Virgo (born September 9), Spice might surprise you with her keen curiosity and gentle approach to new experiences. With her adoption, you are not just welcoming a new furry friend—you are also gaining exclusive benefits like complimentary veterinary exams and ongoing support. Everyone at Homeward Trails is eager for Spice to find a loving home ready to help her blossom. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
