Ricky is affectionate, energetic, and curious, who literally dances with happiness whether on a trip to the dog park or a game of fetch in the back yard. He has the open, loving, and sweet disposition of a retriever. He is very friendly with other dogs, children, and people, in general. Everyone that meets Ricky adores him and comments on how soft his beautiful, silver/white coat is. He has boundless energy and will bring joy to a family or someone who likes to frequent the outdoors with a best friend to share it with; and when the fun is over, he will snuggle right up with you for a nap. Ricky is a 20-month old Golden Retriever mix who has been chipped and neutered. He is finishing up an intensive in-house training program after having been abandoned by his owner in November – essentially left on his own in an empty house with a neighbor who stopped by twice a day to feed and walk him. But his good natured and kind personality sees him through. He is terrific!
