Meet Minnie, a 5-year-old, 25-pound beagle/terrier mix with a black and tan coat. Minnie is incredibly sweet and thrives on attention from her people. She greets everyone with a tail wag and quickly wins over hearts. Though she's a tripod, don't count her out—she still has plenty of energy for yard play and especially loves staying on high alert for birds and squirrels. Once she's burned off some steam, Minnie settles in for naps and enjoys just hanging out with her humans. She’s very affectionate and adores cuddles and pets, especially after a nice walk. Minnie gets along well with cats, but she does best as the only dog in the home. Her house manners are impressive: she’s house trained and polite indoors. She’s been through a lot—rescued from a tough situation and given the medical care she needed, including surgery to remove an irreparable leg—but is now healthy, happy, and waiting for her forever home in Potomac, MD.
