About Scooter

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Scooter, a charming 4-year-old, 18-pound Chihuahua/Shepherd blend in search of his forever home. His sweet spot? Belly rubs—he’ll roll over with glee just to get your attention! Scooter’s favorite pastime is playing fetch with his beloved balls, and he shows off his skills like a true pro. This clever pup knows how to "sit" and comes when called, making him a quick learner and easy to bond with. Scooter has a gentle nature but prefers a calm and respectful environment—that’s why he’ll be happiest in a home with children age 10 and up. He will thrive as an only pet, but could be content with a calm dog companion who isn’t pushy or boisterous. Although Scooter has epilepsy, it’s currently well managed with medication, ensuring he can lead a happy and active life. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion, Scooter might just be the perfect match! Feel free to come by Friends For Life Animal Rescue during their open hours to meet him.
