3/21/26. Welcome Athena to DRL. DOB: 12/07/24. This beautiful, petite red girl lost her home through no fault of her own. She had a litter of mixed-breed puppies that were given to a so‑called “rescue” that didn’t bother to help or take her in too. She still needs to be spayed. We know she likes other dogs. She isn’t comfortable with small kids — they really bother her when they play rough — so a home with teenagers or adults would be best.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral).
