To schedule a time to meet this puppy, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org. --- - Sweet and smart! - Has been doing well with potty training in his foster home, although he still has a few accidents; has started using the bell method to tell his family when he needs to go out and picked up on it very quickly - Does amazing with his kennel: goes in quietly and sleeps almost all the way through the night with one just potty break and no accidents - Has been doing very well with the children in his foster home and is chill through the chaos; occasionally forgets his mouth manners, which is normal for a puppy, but every day he's gotten better at finding a toy instead - Has done well with the other dog in his foster home; wants to play but listens well to her social cues - Has been curious about the cat in his foster home and occasionally follows it, but would likely do great in a cat friendly home All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
