Lucille is a vibrant, engaging cat who ensures there is never a dull moment in her presence. Originally a beloved community cat, she quickly earned the loyalty and affection of her caretakers with her bold, outgoing personality and unmistakable charm. Lucille isn’t shy about making her presence—or her opinions—known. Affectionate and social, Lucille delights in greeting her humans with purrs, gentle requests for attention and the occasional face kiss. She enjoys curling up in a warm lap during breaks from her favorite activities—playing, exploring and supervising her surroundings. Highly intelligent, Lucille responds to her name, eagerly follows her humans from room to room and learns new routines with impressive speed. She even mastered using a cat door after only a few observations of her foster siblings. Lucille’s confident, take-charge personality means she appreciates having her boundaries respected. She can be assertive when she prefers not to be disturbed and is not particularly fond of being picked up. For this reason, she would do best with an experienced adopter who understands and respects feline communication.
