She has had a difficult past, having been used as a breeding dog by the Amish, but she is now safe and ready to find her forever home where she can be loved and cherished as the pet she deserves to be. Dee Dee is a social butterfly and gets along well with other dogs, having spent time in boarding/daycare and working with a trainer to improve her skills. She is a sweet and gentle soul, and her affectionate nature will quickly win your heart. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding - Adoption fee is $380 and helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip. -We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available. About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit. Since 2015 we have been dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Kansas City and NW Indiana areas.
