Tavai is a female, 1.8 lb., black and tan Yorkie/Terrier mix puppy. Her estimated date of birth is January 20, 2026. We were contacted about a situation where too many dogs were living in a small apartment over a garage. We were able to secure Tavai, her siblings, mother and father into our rescue. Tavai has an adorable head tilt. She would rather use brains than brawn. Her ears are her weapon of choice when it comes to survival in the puppy pen. She can hear the food bowl being filled and is in position waiting to be first to dive in. If someone knocks her over, not a problem, she will tilt her head, give them warning and then climb on their back to return to her rightful spot in the food bowl! We estimate that she will be in between 8-12 pounds when full grown. Mom is about 10 pound and a Yorkie mix. Dad is 6 pounds and a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Tavai will be available for adoption in the beginning of April, with pre-adoption available now. She has a $350.00 adoption fee that includes neuter/spay, vaccinations and micro chip.
