Blake recently made his way to us from one of our southern shelter partners in Georgia after being found as a stray, and we are so excited to help him find the loving home he deserves. Blake is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate 1-year-old pittie mix, weighing about 40 lbs. His favorite thing in the world? Love and attention. He truly just wants to be close to his people and soak up all the affection he can get. He is housebroken and does great on car rides. We’re currently working on crate training and leash skills, and he’s eager to learn and please. Blake gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with school-aged kids. He absolutely loves playing with his foster’s neighbors (ages 7 and 12)! He can still be a little mouthy at times (typical puppy behavior), so older kids are the best fit for him. He is not cat tested. Blake is still adjusting to indoor life, so he would thrive in a suburban home where things are a bit quieter and he has space to settle in comfortably.
