At about 7 years old, she still has a spark for life, darting around the yard in full zoomie mode before knocking out for some serious couch time. She’s a medium-sized pit bull terrier and American Staffordshire terrier mix, super affectionate and always on the hunt for cuddles—don’t expect much in the way of personal space. Blueberries are her go-to snack, but she’ll never say no to fruits or veggies. Luca thrives in a home with older kids (8 or 9 and up). The 9- and 13-year-olds in her foster family adore her, and she’s happiest with people who match her warmth. She does not get along with other dogs or cats, so she’s best as the solo animal in her home. You must be over 25 and own your home, or be a renter with reliable landlord permission.
