About Mama Calypso
Mama Calypso | Friendly, Sweet Soul Who Loves Everyone | Transport Available Nationwide ────────── I’m Mama Calypso, a friendly, sweet girl who absolutely loves people. I’m the kind of cat who greets you with affection, leans into your touch, and makes every day feel a little brighter just by being there. I have a playful, loving personality and a gentle nature that makes me incredibly easy to fall in love with. I have a naturally nurturing personality and tend to take on a “mama” role with other cats — I’m patient, kind, and bring a calming presence to those around me. Whether I’m playing, cuddling, or just quietly keeping you company, I truly thrive on connection and being part of a loving home. I bond deeply with my people and feel happiest when I’m close to you. I’m the kind of cat who will follow you around, settle in beside you, and remind you every day what unconditional love looks like. I do have FIV, but please don’t let that scare you away from me. It simply means my immune system needs a little extra support, not that I’m sick or fragile. I’m still playful, affectionate, and full of life — everything you would want in a companion. FIV is mainly spread through deep bite wounds, not through cuddling, sharing food bowls, or living peacefully with other cats. Many FIV+ cats live long, happy, completely normal lives with routine vet care and a loving home. What it really means is I just need someone willing to see past a label and recognize what an amazing, loving, and devoted cat I truly am. FIV Care Guide (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) I am FIV-positive, but that doesn’t define me — I can still live a long, happy, completely normal life with just a little extra care. What is FIV? FIV affects a cat’s immune system, but many FIV+ cats live just as long as other cats with proper care. Daily Life: I can live safely with other friendly cats I eat normal food and live a normal lifestyle I just need routine vet care and to stay indoors Myth vs. Fact: Myth: FIV+ cats can’t live with other cats Fact: FIV is mainly spread through deep bite wounds, not casual contact like grooming or sharing bowls Myth: FIV+ cats have short lives Fact: Many live long, full lives with no major issues Myth: FIV+ cats are always sick Fact: Most are healthy and only need regular check-ups All I need is a loving home, good nutrition, and routine vet care — just like any other cat. I’m fully vetted and ready to go.
