About Mariah

Mariah — The Gentle White Beauty Who’s Always Caring for Others | Transport Available Nationwide I’m Mariah, a soft, snow-white girl with bright yellow eyes and a calm, loving nature. I may look elegant—and I am—but what really makes me special is how much love I have to give. I enjoy the quiet things in life… head scratches, treats, and stretching out in a sunny window where I can relax and feel safe. My story is one of love. While I was recovering from my spay at the rescue, I heard the cries of tiny orphan kittens—and I went straight to them. I gently cleaned them and let them snuggle close, offering them comfort and warmth. Even though I couldn’t feed them, I became their “co-foster mom,” giving them the care and affection they needed to feel safe. I spent part of my life as a community cat and raised litters of my own, so nurturing others just comes naturally to me. But now… it’s my turn. I’m ready for a home where I can finally be the one who’s protected, cherished, and loved. I’m calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. I don’t need constant attention—I’m happiest just being near you, quietly keeping you company and bringing a peaceful presence into your home. I am FIV positive, and because of that, I’m often overlooked—but I promise I’m just as wonderful as any other cat. I don’t need expensive or special care—just routine veterinary visits, good food, fresh water, and a safe indoor home. If you’re someone who takes care of your pets and gives them a loving, stable environment, I can live a long, happy, completely normal life. FIV Care Guide FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) simply means my immune system needs a little extra support—but it does not define who I am. • I can live safely with other friendly cats as long as everyone gets along (it spreads mainly through deep bite wounds). • I thrive as an indoor cat where I stay safe and healthy. • Routine vet care and a low-stress home help me stay strong. • I can live a long, full, happy life—just like any other cat. FIV Myths vs. Facts • Myth: FIV+ cats have short lives. Fact: Many live long, healthy lives. • Myth: FIV spreads easily. Fact: It is not spread through sharing bowls, grooming, or peaceful co-living. • Myth: FIV+ cats are always sick. Fact: Most live normal, happy lives with routine care. I’ve spent so much of my life taking care of others… now I’m just hoping someone will choose me and let me finally be loved. ❤️ Mariah is fully vetted and ready to go.
