About Dahlia
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Dahlia’s journey started in a large group setting, as she was one of over 60 small breed dogs needing rescue in Anderson County. At just 8 months old and weighing about 12 pounds, she is still discovering the world and has had very limited human contact up until now. Dahlia craves affection but is understandably quite shy; she will thrive in a calm home with older children and gentle pets who respect her boundaries as she builds trust. Since house training will be new for her—she’s never had the opportunity due to her previous circumstances—her family should be patient and prepared to work with her. Dahlia will be spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption, and she’s heartworm negative and on prevention. This sweet small-breed pup is waiting for her perfect match in Knoxville, TN, where she can finally settle into a loving forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While Miniature Pinschers are small, they enjoy having outdoor space to explore and play. A secure, fenced yard is ideal, but daily walks and playtime can also meet their needs in smaller homes or apartments.
