Hi! I'm Sharkira! A name so nice you say it twice! I am a beautiful husky, with a glowing personality and a heart of gold. I'm gentle by nature - I think soft snuffles, patient paw holding, and the occaional soul searching stare. That being said I am also a certified goodball! I do zoomies like its my job, make weird noises just to keep my humans on their toes. I love treats, talking back when no one asked, and making new friends. I love other dogs and would make a great playmate. Besides that, I am unfortunately positive for heartworms. With the proper treatment, I can become heartworm free, but will need to be on a heartworm preventative long term. I will also need to be brought back to the shelter to undergo the treatments. This will be of no cost to you, and is fully covered by our generous Angel Fund! I will need a vet reference at the time of my adoption. Staff can answer any questions you may have regarding this. FWACC reserves the right to place me in my best fit home and will require a vet reference.
