About Stanley

Stanley was found on the roadside after being hit by a car and was in critical shape, but thanks to quick care, he is now recovering in foster care. When he arrived, Stanley was extremely underweight, sick, and missing most of his teeth, so he receives several small meals each day along with medications to help him heal and put on weight safely. Recently, he was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, and his x-rays revealed a tougher past—he carries dozens of BBs in his body from earlier mistreatment, though he is not in heart failure and remains under close observation. Despite all that he’s survived, Stanley is gentle, sweet, and gravitates toward kindness. He does well with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and is comfortable around children. He’s simply looking for compassion and safety after years of hardship. Stanley is not currently available for adoption due to medical needs, but his journey can be followed as he recovers. Once he’s cleared, he’ll be seeking a safe and loving home where he can finally rest easy. As a fun fact, Stanley is a Pisces—known for their sensitivity and resilience. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
