Eve
AvailableEve is a young, medium-sized, mixed-breed German Shepherd Dog with a striking yellow, tan, black, and fawn coat marked by a notable scar above her right eye. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. After a traumatic start, she is house trained, social with other dogs her size, and brings high spirits and love wherever she goes. Eve is currently in Lock Haven, PA, ready to find her forever family.
About Eve
Eve survived 17 cold and terrifying days abandoned in the woods, nursing wounds from a porcupine encounter and the trauma of being left behind with four other dogs. She arrived at the rescue underweight, battered, and deeply fearful, but with vet care and patient foster support, she’s transformed. The scars remain—Eve will likely always have a mark over her right eye as a reminder of those weeks—but her spirit has come through strong. Once she knows you, Eve is pure affection and leans hard into lap dog territory. Her energy is high: she’s happiest with long walks, a pile of toys, and the freedom to run. Potential adopters should know she’s best in a home with other dogs her size but not smaller pets or cats, as her prey drive is pronounced. She’s smart and highly food-motivated, learning basic commands and getting better on leash every day—but will benefit from continued structure and patience. Eve is house trained, kennels well overnight, and responds warmly to consistent kindness. If you want a resilient, loving, and lively companion who’s ready for her next chapter, Eve is waiting for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
